Welcome mama!

I’m Gina — a relatively new member of the beautiful, messy, sacred world of motherhood.

As I write this, I’m in the thick of life with two littles ones, both under three. I used to joke with my husband (even while we were dating!) that I wanted at least seven kids. He likes to remind me, lovingly and often, to take it one child at a time. So we’re doing just that — and trusting God with the rest.

For years, I’ve dreamed of creating a cozy corner of the internet where I could share my thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned along the way. Friends and family have said things like, “You should start a blog!” or “You need to share this online!” But as a recovering perfectionist, I always found reasons to delay — telling myself I wasn’t quite ready.

Recently, though, God whispered something different in prayer: Just start.

He gently reminded me that it’s not the perfectly polished and curated moments that speak to others — it’s the honest, messy, unfiltered ones that truly connect us.

So… here we are. :)

My hope for Catholic Mamas is two-fold:

  • To share real, unfiltered life updates, reflections, and faith-filled encouragement

  • To build a space where Catholic mamas — especially new ones — can find community, support, and inspiration to grow in holiness together

If you’ve made it this far, I’d say you are at least somewhat invested (or at least intrigued) about what’s to come for Catholic Mamas, so I invite you to say hello! I would truly love to hear from you :)

All glory to God!
